Dr MacKenzie

Dr. Christina MacKenzie grew up in Medford, MA and graduated from UMASS Amherst with her undergraduate degree in 1995. She went on to earn a Doctorate in Veterinary Science from the University of Liverpool, England in 2002.  After working in Albany, NY for a year, she returned to Massachusetts in 2003.  Since then, Dr MacKenzie has worked in the Greater Boston Area. While at a local clinic, she took on house calls and found there was a huge benefit to home visits for both the pets and their owners. This is when she decided to create Veterinary Home Visits. 

​

Dr. MacKenzie attended the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) Veterinary Acupuncture course and became certified in veterinary acupuncture in 2006.

​

She currently lives on the North Shore with her husband, their 2 children and their dog, Beau.

Dr Thistle

​

Dr. Linda Thistle grew up in Malden, MA. She earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of New Hampshire in 1988 and a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tennessee in 1992. She completed a small animal medicine and surgical internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA in 1993. She has been in private practice in the suburbs of Boston and the Merrimack Valley ever since. 
 

Dr Thistle is passionate about client education, preventative medicine and fear free techniques all with the best interest of her patients and clients in mind. 

She resides in the Merrimack Valley with her husband, two sons, their dog and three cats.

Colleen

 

Colleen Duncan is a Veterinary Technician with over 5 years of experience. 

She graduated with her Associate’s Degree in Veterinary Technology from NSCC in 2014 and has interests in behavior and geriatric medicine. She is currently pursuing fear free certification. We love having Colleen on board!

Samantha

Samantha Sanfilippo is a Veterinary Technician and a graduate of North Shore Community College’s Animal Care Specialist program.  She has been working with animals for over six years. Sam is the proud owner of Staycation Pet Sitting Service and a wonderful addition to our team!
